It was believed to be accurate at the time of writing, but I expressly disclaim any responsibility for problems readers may encounter as a result of attempting to implement techniques discussed herein.
One of my favorite things about FileMaker is how incredibly flexible and forgiving it is. Typically there are multiple ways to solve a given problem, and if I recommend a given technique, that does not necessarily mean I consider it to be superior to others which I may not have mentioned. Often I will recommend a technique because I believe it is deserving of wider recognition, or because it strikes me as a particularly elegant way to solve a problem under certain circumstances. One size rarely fits all in the FileMaker world, and what makes perfect sense in one situation may prove disastrous in another.
